A journey through the tropics over the last 25 years: Thanks to NASA.

In this talk I will review several tropical field projects that had NASA involvement.  This review will start with the DUNDEE project at Darwin using the NASA TOGA radar.  I will also consider the ship based radar program during TOGA COARE.  Switching to tropical continental projects, I will then revisit TRMM LBA. The talk will conclude with a look at some recent GV field projects.  I will contrast and compare the various projects from the point of view of polarimetric radar.
