Awards and Honors
Elections were held for members of the International Ozone Commission at the Quadrennial Ozone Symposium in Tromso, Norway, June 29 – July 5. Results involving Laboratory members were as follows:

Rich Stolarski (613.3) was elected vice-president of the IOC.
P. K. Bhartia (613) and Paul Newman (613.3) were elected members of the IOC.
Anne Douglass (613.3) will continue as a member for a second four-year term.

Meetings and Workshops
Warren Wiscombe (613.2) attended the ARM Meeting, AGU Headquarters, July 22, 2008.

Steven Platnick (613.2) attended the GEWEX (WCRP Global Energy & Water Cycle
Experiment) Cloud Assessment Workshop, City College of New York, NY, July 20-24, 2008.
