Seminars
In July, David Whiteman (613.1) presented a seminar entitled “Water Vapor Profiling for Weather and Climate Research (and a little on aerosols and clouds)” at the Laboratory for Atmospheric Physics of the Universidad Mayor de San Andres in La Paz, Bolivia and at the Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Whiteman consulted with colleagues in both institutes in lidar techniques for monitoring water vapor, aerosols and clouds.
