- Charles Gatebe (613.2/UMBC) traveled to Boston University on April 2, 2009 to participate in the PhD dissertation defense for Miguel Roman. Roman is a NASA Graduate Student Researchers Program (GSRP) Fellow at GSFC and Dr. Gatebe served on his PhD committee.
- Alexander Marshak (613.2) and Tamas Varnai (613.2/UMBC) were interviewed for the article entitled “Light Reflected by Clouds can Brighten Air Kilometers Away” featured in NatureNews. Click here to view the article:
