Dr. William K.-M. Lau is the Deputy Director for Atmospheres. He received his P.h.D in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1977. Dr. Lau's research interests include climate dynamics, atmospheric processes, air-sea interaction, aerosol-water cycle interactions, and climate variability and global change.
